KeyMacro is a software application that simulates a physical keyboard, but using only a single key on the computer.
How to use it:
To use it, simply press the key you want to use and your computer will react accordingly. For example, if you press “e” on your keyboard, your computer will enter “.”

Once you have configured the keyboard for your liking, you can change the mode for the keyboard. In this mode, you can type normal characters, but you can also perform any other action you need.

More than a Pomodoro timer, Slash is a task manager with a different look and function. It is a cross-platform task manager with a modern and intuitive interface. Slash includes an integrated reminder service, statistics and a notes function.

Chromium’s development process allows for a potentially rapid pace, but even a huge development team can sometimes seem slow. As of Chrome’s developer preview 2 release, the Blink-based Chromium has moved to version 20, a version that will be added to the public version of Chrome in the future. This upcoming version 20 includes many changes, but one of the biggest changes is the new default page rendering engine, which will take over for Gecko (Firefox’s engine).
What exactly does this mean for us?
The big question is “How is this going to affect Chrome’s speed?” Because we already use Gecko (the current default engine), I can’t speak to the speed of the previous Chromium releases. However, I can say that the developer preview 1 of Chromium 20 is dramatically faster than the developer preview 1 of Chromium 19. I experienced a substantial speed increase in just a few minutes of testing.
To get a feel for what’s changed, I’ve created some benchmarks comparing the speed of the dev-preview 1 of Chromium 20 and the dev-preview 1 of Chromium 19. The benchmarks are run on an Intel Core i7-4790K CPU clocked at 4.0 GHz. Chromium 20 is based on a master build from January 21, 2014, and Chromium 19 is based on a dev build from September 2, 2013.
Running CPU benchmarks on a particular version of Chrome requires two things: A series of prepared tabs and a pair of developer tools. Chrome has had an easy-to-use tab manager for a while, but as of late, I’ve been using the Process Explorer tool for the job. This lets you view a single application’s activities, including CPU usage. I’ve also tried WinDBG’s similar tool, Process Monitor, but it can sometimes be a bit difficult to read.
The benchmarks run a series of tasks that change the default (Gecko-based) page engine to Blink (Chromium’s engine). Because I wanted to replicate a real-world scenario, I chose tasks that would never be run in my real life.
The task that we will be benchmarking is the large number of Chrome tabs that I create and then use to create a new tab of the

9. Dopod™ Personal Time Management System

If you are the type of person that has a lot of tasks to accomplish on a daily basis, you might want to consider keeping track of them. It makes it easier to remember what you have to do and figure out what you need to focus on.
Doing this by pen and paper is one option, but with the technology we have available, it is basically the more complicated way. An easier method would be to use Slash.
Create and manage tasks with ease
Having absolutely nothing to do with the Guns'n'Roses guitarist, this program is great for keeping track of all your tasks. Available on Windows, Linux, macOS, Android and iOS, it has a user-friendly interface with a changeable theme and intuitive commands.
You just need to write down the tasks you have to do for the day and then get to work. Whenever you finish with one, you can mark it as being done and it will be removed from the list.
"Slash" through them
The application's name isn't random, as it actually has a function called like that. Whenever you activate it, the main window will be replaced with a much smaller one, and the program will start a Pomodoro timer.
From the new interface, you can either skip past a task, mark it as done or pause it. When you finish with one, the main window will re-appear displaying a GIF, congratulating you on your achievement.
On the right side of the GUI you can find a list with all the finished tasks. You can keep them there for your personal record or you can simply delete them.
In the top-right corner, there is a button that brings up your statistics. Here is where you can find information about your productivity.
All in all, Slash is simply awesome. Given the number of features that it has and how easy it is to use, it is one of the best self-organizing tools available.
