Out of 10 elements, the arrangement can be done in $10!$ ways.
Now, as I have arranged the elements in ascending order, there are $9$ ways in which elements can be arranged in a line and one way in which arrangement is not possible (As the tenth element will be the biggest and the elements from the first to the ninth position will have less number than the tenth element). Thus, the total ways in which elements can be arranged in a line is $10! – 9!$
However, the answer is $324$. Please guide me where I am wrong.


The “one way in which arrangement is not possible” is wrong. For example the permutation $$1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10$$
doesn’t count.
The correct answer is
(if we want to count the arrangements with repetition count as 2 permutations so that we would get $10\times9+10\times1=162$)


Converting Nokogiri HTML to native string

I’m trying to convert HTML from a string into a native string in Ruby using Nokogiri. When I do the conversion, it is missing all of the tags.
Here’s a sample of what I have so far:

I have also tried:
html = doc.to_html

I want to convert this to a native string so I can use string interpolation later.
